Insights From our Schools & Agents Weekly Bulletin – The One About SEO

Hi everyone! We’re back with more highlights from our weekly Schools & Agents Bulletin, this time with a focus on SEO (Search Engine Optimisation). Here’s what Lynne has to say about why you should improve or implement a strong SEO strategy for your international education business.

1. Capture organic traffic

The most obvious reason to invest in SEO is to attract the highest amount of organic traffic to your website. When potential students or partners search for relevant keywords on Google, optimised websites with quality content, meta descriptions, and keyword-rich pages are more likely to rank higher in search results, increasing click-through rates.

2. Build trust and credibility

Following Google’s guidelines, including the creation of EEAT (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness and Trustworthiness) content, is essential for improving your website’s ranking. Clear, authentic content that sticks to these principles is more likely to rank higher. Additionally, it’s important that your website is user-friendly and easy to navigate, so make sure to test it thoroughly and listen to user feedback.

3. Use AI wisely

Although AI can help streamline your content creation and management, it needs to align with your brand’s tone of voice and guidelines. Google recognises AI-generated content and may derank websites that rely too heavily on it. This doesn’t mean avoiding AI tools altogether. Instead, strike a balance by using AI to enhance efficiency, while ensuring your content remains authentic.

As you can see, investing in SEO is so important for businesses in the international education industry to gain more visibility. We’ll be back soon with more tips, but until then, don’t hesitate to reach out to Schools & Agents if you need further assistance with developing or refining your SEO strategy.
